An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/6/2023 from 2:40 pm-3:53 pm. There were 30 children supervised by 3 direct care staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in drawing, tabletop activities, and eating snack. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: During the inspection, it was seen that the door to the supply closet was propped open. When the supply closet was checked, a box of cleaning wipes was found on an open shelf.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
