Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on February 9, 2023. There were 55 children present, with 12 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 22.1-289.036-B-2
Description: Based on review of records, a staff member who is authorized to act as an agent for the organization does not have a current fingerprint eligible letter on file.
Evidence
Staff #1 does not have a current fingerprint eligibility letter on file. The letter on file expired 2/7/2023.

Plan of Correction: Since staff member is not directly involved with the children, but is authorized to act as a representative for the school, we did not know she still needed the background checks completed. She will make an appointment today to go ASAP. I will send the results to my inspector as soon as they are received.
