A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted beginning 2/23/2023 and ending 2/24/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 42 children were present with 4 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: playing in centers, participating in 100th day of school activities, playing with blocks, completing crafts, and tracing names and shapes. Handwashing procedures were also observed before children ate snack. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, and 5 children?s records, 2 staff records, and 2 board officer records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
