An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/23/2023 from 3:50 pm to 5:25 pm and staff records were reviewed on 2/26/2023 from 10 am to 11:25 am. There were 53 children in care, ages 3 years to 11 years of age, in three groups under the care of six staff. The Licensing Inspector reviewed five children?s records, five staff records, and background checks on two new staff, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. The children were observed doing homework and outside play.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-70 Description: Based on interviews, the center failed to have names, addresses, and telephone numbers of a person to notify in an emergency for staff members.
EVIDENCE:
The center did not have staff emergency contact information available during the 1/23/2023 inspection. Staff 1 and 2 stated it was kept in another building on the campus and was not available.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
