A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/3/2023 and concluded on 3/3/2023. There were 46 children directly supervised by 5 staff members. Children were observed engaged in group activities in the gym, beading and manipulatives. The physical plant, 3 child records, all staff records are current, medications, and evacuation drills were inspected. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-E Description: Based on a review of medications and staff interview, the center is not following their own policies and procedures that are required to maintain medications.
Evidence: Child #1's medications have expired, the Epi pen expired 9/2022 and the Albuterol expired 7/2022.Plan of Correction: The Center Supervisor notified the parent and updated medications will be brought to the program.
