Technical Assistance:

Consultation was given on additional subsidy requirements including one lock down drill per calendar year to be conducted with children in care, VQB5 information (found on the DOE Licensing website) and free trainings under the professional training link. The annual subsidy health and safety training has been updated and should be taken by all staff within one year of the preservice training. The training can be found on the DOE licensing website under Professional Development.

Comments:

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 3/7/2023. There were 113 children present with 22 staff supervising and 3 administrative staff on-site. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
