A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on March 27, 2023 with the center director. There were 110 children present with 6 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Based upon review of six, the facility has not ensured that all staff providing care to children have first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
Evidence:
1. The record provided for staff 1 did not include documentation of current first aid and CPR certification.
2. The record for staff 4 did not contain documentation of current first aid and CPR certification.
