A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/30/2023 and concluded on 3/30/2023. There were 8 children present with three staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:35 am and concluded at 10:35 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on record review the center failed provide to the licensing representative an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
The last fire inspection conducted was dated 12/15/2021.
Plan of Correction: Contact was made with the fire marshal requesting an inspection. The Education Supervisor will ensure these are conducted annually.
