A monitoring inspection was initiated on 3/30/2023 and concluded on 3/30/2023. There were 8 children present with three staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:35 am and concluded at 10:35 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on record review the center failed provide to the licensing representative an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
Evidence:
The last fire inspection conducted was dated 12/15/2021.Plan of Correction: Contact was made with the fire marshal requesting an inspection. The Education Supervisor will ensure these are conducted annually.
