Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on March 29, 2023. There were 35 children present with 4 staff supervising. The physical plant, children's records, staff records, snack menu's, evacuation drill logs, attendance logs, first aid kits and emergency preparedness procedures were reviewed. The playground was also inspected. Areas of non-compliance were cited on the violation notice. Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
In the Pre-K-Part Day Classroom, Lysol wipes were kept in a cubbie and not kept in a locked place.

Plan of Correction: Lysol wipes were placed in a locked place during the inspection.
