Discussion that the most recent annual fire inspection conducted by the county Fire Marshal's Office was performed on 12/05/2022.
- Comments:

This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 04/14/2023, between the hours of 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. There were 191 preschool children present with 26 staff supervising across 12 different classrooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 20 children records. A percentage of all PRCS staff records are checked annually through their main office in Leesburg during a separate inspection conducted by the Office of Child Care Health & Safety (Fairfax).
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-510-F Description: Based on review, an medication authorization was expired for medication observed on site.
Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (04/14/2023), the medication authorization for medication to be administered to Child #1 was observed with an effective date that ended on 03/21/2023.
2. Both the medication and child was observed on site on the date of inspection.
3. The listed medication is to be given on an as needed basis.Plan of Correction: An updated medication authorization form will be completed and obtained from parent.
