Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on April 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:35 pm. There were 87children present, ranging in ages from 2 to 8 years, with 15 staff supervising.

A total of nine child records and five staff records were reviewed. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The center's director was available throughout the inspection to answer questions.

During the inspection, the children and staff were observed participating in a variety of activities, to include staff reading to the children. Staff were also observed supervising the children during outside activities. Staff interactions with the children were positive. All areas of the facility including all classrooms, bathrooms and outdoor play areas were inspected.

The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The center is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. The center administers emergency medication only. The required fire, shelter in place and lockdown drills reviewed and were in compliance.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction and date to be corrected for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Just writing the word corrected is not
acceptable. Your plan of correction must contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures.
Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.
