Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-245-A
Description: Based on a review of staff records, the center failed to ensure that staff shall complete annually a minimum of 16 hours of training appropriate to the age of the children in care.

Evidence:
Staff #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5's records do not contain documentation of the completion of the annual training hours for 2021-2022.

Plan of Correction: I will document training hours in a better format that will ensure that training hours completed and counted for inspection.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B
Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
In the Infant room, the bleach/water solution was not in a locked place.

Plan of Correction: Removed during inspection, I will remind staff that all cleaning products must be kept in a locked place.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-500-A
Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that children's hand shall be washed with soap and running water after toileting or any contact with blood, feces or urine.

Evidence:
In the Infant room, a staff member changed a child's diaper, but did not wash the child's hands after a diaper change.

Plan of Correction: I will remind teachers to wash infant's hand with soap and water after a diaper change.
