The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced inspection in response to a complaint received on 04/13/2023 regarding allegations concerning supervision of children and behavioral guidance. The inspection was completed on 04/25/2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 12:20 p.m. to 1:25 pm. Observations and interviews with staff were completed.
The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation. The complaint is determined to be not valid; however, a violation of standards was determined. See the violation notice for details.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-J Complaint related: No Description: Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that tables used for feeding were sanitized after each use.
Licensing inspector observed staff in the two-year-old classroom and pre-school 1-A classroom cleaning the tables after the children?s lunch; however, not sanitizing the tables afterwards.
