An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:30am-10:23 am. At the time of entrance, 10 children were in care with 2 staff members present and 1 volunteer. The sample size consisted of 3 children?s records and 2 staff records. Children were observed participating in activity with a visitor discussing first aid and reading books.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence:
There was handsanitizer that was on the staff desk and window sill. Labeled keep out of reach of children and warning.Plan of Correction: The handsanitizer will be removed.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-290-A-3 Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure electrical outlets have protective covers that are of a size that cannot be swallowed by children.
