A monitoring inspection was on 5/26/2023 from 9:40-10:40 am. There were 17 children present,
ranging in ages from three to four years old with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records, and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-200-A Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
Based on review of two staff files, program failed to ensure that there was a qualified program director on site for at least fifty percent of the center's hours of operation.
Evidence:
1. Neither staff that were on site qualifies as a program director.
2. The administrator confirmed that Staff #1 is currently working on completing CDA credentials, but with staffing issues, unable to meet requirement at this time. .Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
