Comments:

A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 6/8/2023 with the licensing inspector being on site from approximately 10:45am to 1:45pm. The center director and center staff were available throughout the inspection to answer any questions. There were 21 children present with 3 staff supervising. A complete licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The center is equipped with toys, supplies and items were available to children. Medication is not administered. During the inspection, the children and staff were observed participating in a variety of activities. Interviews were conducted with staff and areas of the facility were inspected to include all classrooms, bathrooms and the playground areas. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures.
