Discussed with the provider: requirements for written playground safety procedures, injury prevention plan, and prevention of shaken baby/abusive head trauma procedures
The next anticipated inspection will be the center?s renewal inspection. Director was reminded to have all renewal application documents completed and submitted into licensing office 45 days prior to expiration for processing. The renewal application is available on the VDOE website.

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 06/01/2023 between the hours of approximately 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. An investigation into a self-reported injury was also initiated. There were 4 classrooms observed with a total of 18 children with 5 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed waking up from nap, eating snack, playing outside and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, injury reports and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
