Discussed staff sight and sound supervison in the infant classroom in two rooms.

An unannounced monitoring was conducted on June 6, 2023 from aproximately 2:30 pm-`3:40 pm. Children were observed watching a movie, singing songs,and freely playing. Staff records and children's records were reviewed . Licensing Inspector reviewed indoor and outdoor areas, supervision, activities, equipment,emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drill documentation, emergency procedures and required posting.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289-036-B-4 Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure obtain a copy of the results of a a search of the child abuse and neglect registry or equivalent registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
