A monitoring inspection was initiated on 6/23/2023 at approximately 7:45am and concluded on 6/23/2023 at approximately 8:55am. There were a total of 56 children with 10 staff members present. Children were observed during independent toy play, dress up, and engaged in group activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 10 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Based on review of children's records, the center did not have a name, address, and phone number of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached for all children.
Evidence: There was not record of a name, address, and phone number of two designated people to call in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached for Child #2.Plan of Correction: Center will obtain a 2nd emergency contact for Child #2.
