Comments:
A monitoring inspection was completed from 10:15 until 12:30. Fifteen children wee in care with three staff present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Description: Based on record review, a repeat fingerprint check was not completed every 5 years.
Evidence:
Staff #4's last fingerprint check was 06/13/20218.

Plan of Correction: The staff person will get their fingerprints completed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-540-E
Description: Based on observation, the center did not have a battery operated radio.
Evidence:
There was no battery operated radio.

Plan of Correction: A battery operated radio and batteries will be purchased.
