22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION

A monitoring inspection was conducted today, June 8, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 2:45 pm until 5:00 pm. The site director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 27 children present, ranging in ages from five to eleven years, with
three staff supervising. Children were observed outside tossing a football and climbing on the gym equipment. Later children gathered in the cafeteria where they had center time and snack. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Staff records will be reviewed at a later date. A total of five child records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
