An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on 07/13/2023 between the hours of approximately 11:20 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. There were 2 groups observed with a total of 52 children with 14 staff within the supervision guidelines. At the time of inspection, the site was operating as a summer camp. The site has three cabins, Athletes' Cabin, Performers' Cabin and Artists' Cabin. The children assigned to the Athletes and Performers' Cabins were observed eating lunch. Children in the Artists' Cabin were observed preparing to go on a field trip to see a play. Positive interactions between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, medication and injury reports was conducted during this inspection. Injury reports for a reported serious injury was also reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
