Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-A Description: Based on records review, the center did not maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs for children in care.
Evidence:
1. Written attendance was not recorded for the Toddler room from 7/17/23 and 7/18/23. Additionally written attendance was not recorded for children that had arrived to the center in the morning on 7/19/23.
2. The three and half to four year classroom's written attendance was missing the check outs for 7/17/23; and no written attendance was recorded for 7/18/23. Additionally, 4 children had arrived on 7/19/23 in the morning whose written attendance was not recorded as they arrived.Plan of Correction: Written attendance will be recorded promptly for all children in care as they arrive and depart each day.
