A complaint inspection was conducted today. A complaint was received regarding the centers activities. The inspector interviewed staff, inspected the physical space nd play equipment. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-470-E Complaint related: No Description: Based on interview with staff, children who are not toilet trained are using the portable wading pools.
Evidence
Staff #1 confirmed children who are not toilet trained are using the portable wading pools. There are wearing diapers or swim diapers when in the wading pools.Plan of Correction: I did not realize they could not use the wading pools. They will only use the sprinkles and other water toys, they will not go into the wading pools effective immediately.
