8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.
A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on July 25, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 8:20 am and ended at 11:40 am. There were 10 staff present with 79 children in 5 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed playing on the playground, eating breakfast, playing with various manipulatives, diapering, and bathroom procedures. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, and fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
