A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 7/26/23 from 12:30pmm until 3:00pm. There were 57 children present with 10 staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure that all staff have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of children in care.
Evidence:
1. The records for staff 1 (date of hire: 9/26/22) does not contain documentation of current certification in CPR. Staff 1's CPR certification expired in April 2023.
