An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:35AM to 12:00PM. 38 children were directly supervised by 12 staff. The physical space, 6 children's records, 4 staff records, evacuation drills, medications, attendance and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed playing outside and engaging with the staff. Age appropriate materials were in the classrooms. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-C Description: Based on record review, the follow-up tuberculosis screening showed one staff member had not completed a screening two years from the date of the previous screening. Evidence: 1 out of 4 records reviewed showed an expired tuberculosis screening. The tuberculosis screening for Staff A expired 8/2022 and the follow up screening had not been completed. Plan of Correction: The follow up screening will be scheduled as soon as possible.
