Discussed upkeep of resilent surfacing and toilet work orders. Reviewed expired medication policy.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on August 30, 2023 from 10:15 am-12:10pm . At the time of entrance, 52 children were in care with 11 staff members present. Additional staff was present to assist. The sample size consisted of 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. Children were observed playing with manipulative, puzzles, tummy time and outdoor play time. Three medication documentation were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure each staff member and individual from an independent contractor shall submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening. Documentation of the screening shall be submitted at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children.
Evidence:
Staff #4 (employment date 03/13/2023) there was no documentation of TB result able to be provided during the inspection.
Staff #5 (employment date 08/21/2023) there was no documentation of TB results able to be provide during inspection .
