Central Registry checks are taking an average of 6 weeks to complete so any staff with October expiration dates should submit it soon. The CPS can be done through the portal. Please use the attached link for the most recent/updated background information. The most recent Interstate Background check can also be found on this page.

A building evaluation form will be sent with the visit notes that can be used by State Licensing to issue a license.

An announced modification monitoring visit was conducted to review new location. Emergency preparation/plan, asbestos plan, background and health records for staff as well as physical space were observed. Four classrooms are set-up for children in care but none were on-site today as the program is waiting for the final certificate of occupancy from the County. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
