**Identified through staff interviews 3 of the staff struggled with English. Discussed with the director that staff needs to be able to communicate with licensing inspectors, parents, and emergency personnel. The director explained that there are always several staff on hand that speak English and that staff whom struggle with English often use phone apps to help communicate with parents during drop off and pick up.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/18/2023 from 11:47am to 1:30pm. There were 25 (5 months to 4yrs) directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, no children's medications and medication authorization records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, listening to stories, playing outside, eating lunch.. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report.
