An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on September 25 2023 between 12:00pm and 1:30pm. There were 50 children in the direct care of 3 staff members. Children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, playing outside, reading, having pretend play, creating dances, and playing board games. A sampling of child records, emergency drills, supervision, and the physical plant was observed and inspected. Violations are listed on the violation notice page. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-5 Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure staff to child ratios were always maintained.
Evidence: At the time of inspection there was 3 staff members with 50 children. At approximately 12:35pm Staff #2 left the classrooms and returned at approximately 12:42pm.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
