Consultation was provided regarding putting a system in place to verify the center has all required information when accepting a medication to keep on site for an enrolled child.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted 9/20/2023 from 2:05pm-5:30pm. There were 73 children directly supervised by 13 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, the menu, 4 staff records, 8 children?s records, 5 medications, emergency drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed washing hands, playing in organized centers, eating snack, playing with toy animals, singing and dancing, learning colors, and playing with blocks. Infant care including feeding and diapering was also observed. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. There was an adequate number of CPR/First Aid, Daily Health Observation, and MAT trained staff on site at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
