22.1 Carbon Monoxide
- Technical Assistance:
Discussed the medication for one child and the need for the prescription label/packaging or box with label for an EpiPen. Discussed the drill record should be kept for last 12 months.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today from 2:06pm to 3:15pm. At the time of entrance, 41 children were in care with 3 staff members present. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 2 children's records and 3 Staff certification for CPR/First Aid, Daily Health Observation Training and MAT training were reviewed. Ratios were in compliance and required documents were posted. The site was clean, organized and contained appropriate materials. The children were observed playing games at the table. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. There were no violations cited today.
