An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with administrative staff at the centers home office on 10/10/2023. There were no children in care during the time of inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, and emergencies. A total of 5 staff records and 5 agent/applicant records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 12:15 pm and departed at 12:45 pm.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-J Description: Based on record review and interview with staff, the center failed to ensure the injury prevention procedures shall be updated at least annually based on documentation of injuries and a review of the activities and services.
Evidence: Injury prevention procedures was last updated January 2022. Staff 6 confirmed that was the most recent update.Plan of Correction: Provider will update.
