An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on September 28, 2023. There were 23 children in care ages infant through four years old with seven staff. Children and staff records were reviewed as well as required postings, annual inspections, first aid and emergency supplies and evacuation drills. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities including play activities, transitions and restroom routines. Violations regarding emergency exits, infant formula lists, unlocked chemicals and required postings were observed, discussed with administrators during the exit interview and appear on violation notice.

Evidence:
1 - In the two classrooms where children 2.5 years and younger were cared for the direct egress is blocked.
a. In the toddler care room there was a large planter placed outside and in front of the emergency exit door that is located next to the entrance.
b. In the two-year-old room the egress door was blocked by toys inside the classroom. Out side the door the exit route to a safe distance away from the building was blocked by playground ride on toys.
