An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 9:45 am - 1:15 pm with the director. There were 38 children present with six staff supervising. Children were observed playing outside on the playground, painting with trucks, listening to a story, washing hands and eating lunch. Lunch served today: baked beef ziti, green beans, apple sauce and milk. Seven child records and seven staff records were reviewed along with the written daily attendance, written allergy list, emergency drill log, two emergency medications and authorization forms, two allergy care plans, 15 accident reports and the fire and health inspection. Two playgrounds and two buses were also inspected.
Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the violation notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 4:00pm on Wednesday, 11/1/2023. Evidence: There is chipped, peeling paint on the window sills in the two's classroom, the doorway in the toddler classroom and the chair rail in the preschool classroom; there were cracked and broken floor tiles in the two's classroom; there are curling rugs that are a tripping hazard in the preK 2 and school age classrooms.
