An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed from10:50 until 12:20. There were 9 children and 3 staff supervising.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 staff records and 5 children?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not have all the required information in the children's records.
Evidence:
1. Child record #1-5 did not have emergency addresses in the record.
2. Child record #2 and #4 did not have proof oaf age and identification the record.Plan of Correction: Staff will get the needed information form the parents.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-320-B Description: Based on temperature reading, the water temperature in the classroom that the children used exceed the maximum temperature of 120 degrees.
Evidence:
The water temperature at the classroom sink measured 132 degrees.Plan of Correction: Staff will contact maintenance to adjust the water temperature. Staff will supervise children at the faucet to ensure safety.
