Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 1:45pm-2:35pm. There were 2 classrooms observed with a total of 22 children with 4 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed going outside to play on the playground, being picked up for the day and other organized activities. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, evacuation drill log, first aid kit and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today's inspection and are noted on the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during the inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-70 Description: Based on a review of staff records, 1 out of 4 staff records was incomplete:
1. Staff #4 (doh: 1/15/2023) did not have First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification as required by the responsibilities held by the staff member.Plan of Correction: The staff member will sign up for first aid/cpr training as soon as possible.
