An unannounced Monitoring inspection as conducted today. There were a total of 48 children with 11 staff supervising in a total of 6 occupied classrooms. Observation of all 6 classrooms were made along with the outdoor playground area. Discussion on some building enhancements are planned was held with the Director. The children were sitting in small groups engaged while listening to staff read a book to them in the two year old classroom. Infants were either sleeping in cribs or being held by staff. The four year old class were focused on the daily instruction with the lead teacher. Some parents were observed either dropping or picking up children early for appointments. The center was found maintained and organized. Some projects that the children completed were on display. A large gross motor room is available and used for napping. This room is bright and decorated with aerial clouds that hang from the ceiling. A total of 4 staff and 4 child records were reviewed and found organized and complete. Emergency procedures are practiced and drills are well documented. This inspection occurred between 11am and 12:40pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
