Technical Assistance:
Staff records are maintained at a central site. Emergency contacts for all staff who are on-site, and training certificates (first aid, CPR, MAT and Daily Health Screening) should be kept in a file at each location to ensure the documentation is easily accessible. Student records are so small in print that it is not possible to read. If the center can pull up on the computer and emergency numbers are readily available in case of an emergency then the forms do not need to be printed.

Comments:
A monitoring visit was conducted today. 3 direct care staff were on-site with a 4th arriving during the inspection. Observed circle time and transition to homework, reading and restroom breaks. The program is in a new space for this school year and using a trailer at the elementary school. Additional health and safety procedures must be put in place that addresses the specific needs of a licensed program. Snack served today was goldfish crackers, fruit cup and water. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please be aware that the plan of correction must be provided within 5 days of receipt of the inspection notes if you want it displayed on the website. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
