A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on 09/25/2023. There were 76 children present with 14 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on review of five children's records it was determined that not all staff had completed CPR training within the 90 days of employment. Evidence: The record for Staff A (start date: 05/30/2023) did not have documentation that staff A had completed CPR training. Plan of Correction: Staff A will obtain CPR training.
