An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed from 11:00 until 12:20. There were 13 children and 3 staff present.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 staff records and 5 children?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on observation, an area of the center outside was not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
1. The fence on the playground was loose at the bottom causing an tripping and entangling hazard.Plan of Correction: The fence will be secured at the bottom.
