An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director on November 16, 2023, beginning at 8:25am and ending at 11:00am. There were 62 children, ages 3 through 9 years old, in the care of 10 direct care staff. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of cereal and milk, bagels with cream cheese, apple slices, and milk or water. The children were also observed playing with age-appropriate toys and doing educational work. Six children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. Four medications were reviewed and in compliance. The menu, daily attendance, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 10/30/23. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 9/22/23. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 10/04/23. The most recent health inspection was dated 6/29/23. The most recent fire inspection was dated 3/29/23.
