The center is now a subsidy vendor (as of November 2023, according to staff).
Discussion that all staff will need to complete the (3 hour) Health & Safety Update training on an annual basis. Please keep their certificate of completion (for each year) on file for review.
Discussion that the Virginia Preservice (10 hour) Health & Safety Training; and CPR and First Aid certification has been completed by all staff. Discussion that any new staff that comes on board will have a 90 day window to complete these trainings.

This Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 11/16/2023, between the hours of 10:30 am to 1 pm. There were 7 preschool children present, with 5 staff supervising, across 2 separate classrooms. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards, code, and/or law. No violations were issued.
