A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 11/14/2023. There were 16 children present with 6 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based upon review of staff records, the facility has not ensured that staff obtain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within 90 days of employ.
Evidence:
The record provided for staff 3 indicated a hire date of 10/21/2021. Staff 2 does not have current certification in CPR.Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
CPR certification training was scheduled for staff 3 during the inspection.
