A monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/20/2023. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A Description: Based on a record review the center did not have documentation of having an annual fire inspection.
Evidence:
The fire inspection posted on the parent board was dated 06/06/2022.Plan of Correction: The fire inspections are maintained by the city's recreation department. The director will contact the city to see if a more recent fire inspection has been conducted. If it has not, the Fire Marshall will be contacted and an inspection will be scheduled.
