Discussed handwashing, cleanliness, mop buckets in the hallway with chemicals, mopping classrooms during nap time, and Enviromental Sanitation health inspection.

A unannounced mandated monitoring inspection was initiated on November 14, 2023 from 12:20pm - 3:54 pm. There were 85 children with 17 staff present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of nine children records and seven staff records were reviewed. The children were observed transition into nap time , napping and infant exploring the classroom. The outside area was inspected.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-160-A Description: Based on record review, the licensee did not ensure each staff member and individual from an independent contractor shall submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening. Documentation of the screenin shall be submitted at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children. The documentation shall have been completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment and be signed by a physician, physician's designee, or an official of the local health department.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure hazordous substance shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence:
In the infant 1 and infant 2 classrooms, there was bucket of sanitizer and soap water on the counter top in both classrooms. The containers were with hazordous substances and were not kept in locked place.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.

Evidence:
