An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/04/2023 from 9:55 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. There were 44 children present, ranging in ages from three months to four years old with 15 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that the list of children?s allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions is available to all staff who work with children and is kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.
Evidence:
1. In the older three?s classroom, infant room, PreK fours? room, fours? classroom and two?s classroom, the list of children?s allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions was posted but not in a confidential manner.
2. In the younger three?s classroom, staff were unable to locate the list of children?s allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
