A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 12/05/2023. There were 39 children present with 9 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based upon staff record review and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is obtained within the first 90 days of employ.
Evidence:
1. The record provided for staff 3 indicated a date of employment of 8/29/2023. Staff 3 has not obtained CPR certification.
2. The record provided for staff 4 indicated a date of employment of 5/21/2023. Staff 4 has not obtained CPR certification.
